I was excited when Jamie Delaine asked me to second shoot this wedding for a number of reasons … 1. she’s a very talented photographer, 2. I had never photographed at Cecil Green Park House before, 3. the bride and groom were gorgeous and so very much in love, and 4. I have never done a ‘First Look’ (this is when the bride and groom opt to see each other before the ceremony). I think these are absolutely amazing … it not only relieves so much stress, it is also an opportunity for the bride and groom to spend some alone time that they might not otherwise get. It’s an incredibly special moment between the two of them.
Kim had a very special relationship with her grandmother, who had passed away about 10 years ago … she wore all her jewelry which made her grandfather smile so warmly when he saw it.
Here is a collage of their ‘First Look’ … so cute … Shawn kept rubbing his hands and both their smiles could light up a room, they were sooo excited!
Kim is so cute and loved doing all kinds of fun stuff for the camera!
How gorgeous is she!!
How handsome is he??
We also went to Spanish Banks quickly for some more shots.
Then back to Cecil Green for a lovely sunset ceremony…
I love love love how happy they are that they are finally Mr. & Mrs.
Then into Cecil Green Park House for a cocktail reception.
