Decker & Christine live near the Britannia Heritage Shipyard in Steveston … so what better place to meet and take some shots of their engagement.  They booked me online so I had never had the pleasure of meeting them until a few days ago.  They were both very nice and am happy that they laughed at all of my jokes

This has got to be one of the nicest couples I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.  We had so much fun from the moment our day started.

The ceremony was held at the beautiful Hycroft Manor.  The minister was one of the best that I’ve seen.  He helped make it a very memorable, happy & fun ceremony.   Afterwards everyone gathered around to mingle and nibble on finger foods while the bride & groom finished their family shots.  Then we were off to Iona Beach with the wedding party.   The clouds were dark and gloomy but the photos turned out amazing!!  After Iona beach we still had some time left so we headed out to Steveston at the Britannia Heritage Shipyard for some more formals.

The reception was held at the Kirin Restaurant where the bride & groom were introduced with Canucks towels twirling and some hilarious newlywed games.

This couple completely blew me away on this engagement session.  They are not only incredibly sweet with each other … but man do they like to wrestle, make faces and are constantly being goofy with each other.  I loved it!!!  What a refreshing photo shoot!  Andrea & Simon wanted fun photos … I think they got exactly what they wanted
