Kyle & Stacey’s engagement shoot was the first time I met them in person … and I have to say I was so happy!  They are both incredibly sweet people and a ton of fun to be around.  You guys made my job so easy! and Stacey … thanks for all your super cute outfits with tons of colour!!  I cannot wait for your wedding next weekend!

I love engagement sessions where we just wander around and shoot what people do on a daily basis.  This was so much fun seeing where Derek & Roseanne ride their bikes … eat burritos … and basically just hang out

This last trip back to Ontario, I was able to squeeze in an engagement session for Todd & Toni and a long overdue dinner.   I was introduced to Todd almost 14 years ago when I started dating my husband.  Over the years we have developed a very close friendship … I don’t just consider him one of my best friends …he’s more like a brother to me.  It warms my heart to see him so happy and in love!!

I am over the moon happy that he will be marrying Toni this May … she is an absolute sweetheart and is going to make a beautiful bride.  I am extremely honored that I will be photographing their wedding.

This couple blew me away from the word “go”!   They put so much thought into this engagement session and I think it really paid off!!  Renee said to me that most people do not get their photos taken professionally and she wanted to look her best!  She had her ring cleaned … her hair done … her make up professionally done … new manicure … matching outfits … and all kinds of cool props!  I can’t thank you enough for making this such an easy session …

The first time I met these two our meeting lasted over two hours … it felt like no time had passed at all and we were just old friends enjoying a glass of wine on a sun-filled patio!  I love when I get clients like this … we immediately clicked and I cannot wait to shoot their wedding next year!!

Decker & Christine live near the Britannia Heritage Shipyard in Steveston … so what better place to meet and take some shots of their engagement.  They booked me online so I had never had the pleasure of meeting them until a few days ago.  They were both very nice and am happy that they laughed at all of my jokes

After rescheduling this session a few times due to crazy rainstorms … we were finally able to connect to photograph Danica & Hanson’s engagement session.  I was looking forward to this session because Danica put alot of thought into how she wanted her photos to turn out.  I love the fact that she incorporated so many of the things her and Hanson do on a daily basis.

Hannah, Eugene & I headed out to beautiful Granville Island for their engagement session last week.  I always love the opportunity for engagements sessions because I get to see how the couple interact with each other and it’s a great way to get them used to having cameras pointing at them non-stop

It was great meeting up with Gosia & Peter for their engagement session yesterday.  After having to cancel due to ridiculous rainstorms the past few weeks, we finally saw the sun come out … we got to Granville and it started raining

Even though the colours were amazing that day, I could have blogged the whole shoot in black and white!  I just loved the way they turned out.  See for yourself!

Rob & Catherine are an absolute hoot to be around…we had a ton of fun and lots of laughs in Fort Langley, while walking around taking some shots for their engagement session.  They are getting married on Halloween and I am so excited to be shooting their day!
