I received an email from Michael explaining how he was going to be proposing to his girlfriend Alex at the beach. He wanted me to photograph the whole thing for him…yes please! I couldn’t help but smile at how romantic this was going to be. He had spent weeks timing the sunset and making different potions to put on the rope that he was going to light on fire. It was going to spell out ”Marry Me Alex”…

. She had no idea … it was incredibly sweet and I am so honored that I got to witness this proposal. They are a very cute couple and I look forward to photographing them for their official engagement shoot.

These were Michael’s friends who set everything up … they ran so fast and hid behind these rocks so they wouldn’t give anything away! Too funny!!
