a bit about me...

Everyone remembers their first love.

The one you can’t bear to spend a waking moment without.

The one that makes your heart skip just thinking about it.

My first crush was with a beat-up old Minolta camera.

I have always been interested in art, so photography was a natural transition from sketching with my hands to “drawing with light” through my camera.

My name is Fran Chelico and I am a Vancouver Wedding & Portrait Photographer...This is my blog.  A place where I can share my latest weddings ... portraits ... and random thoughts and photos ... please feel free to hang out ... snoop around ... check things out ... leave comments ... ask questions ... whatever ... thanks for stopping by ... come back anytime :)

Engagement Session | Hermitage Ruins | Ancaster, Ontario | Destination Wedding Photographer

Polkaroo … that is how Melanie (a registered veterinary technician) thought of Chris.  At the time he was the mysterious ‘cute paramedic guy’ that worked at the same Fort Erie Race Track.  Every time a mutual friend tried to introduce them, Chris had either just left or wasn’t working that shift, etc. etc.  there was always...

Sunny Scooter Day along Lake Ontario | Vancouver Wedding Photographer

My mother loves to tell the story how I was missing for over an hour as a small child at my dad’s shop, and that they had to get the whole body shop looking for me.  I used to love climbing up into the back cabs of the transport trucks and explore…this particular time I ended...
