Every year I donate a portrait/family session to help raise money for some of the local schools in West or North Vancouver. This beautiful family won the auction for one of those fund raisers … I was so excited to photograph this family at their favorite spot…Radcliff beach. It was so private and the kids were amazing little troopers and stuck it out for some photos when all they wanted to do was go swimming . Great job girls!

Every year, my friend asks if I would donate a portrait package for an auction to help raise money for her son’s school in West Vancouver… this lovely family was the winner of that auction. It was a real hoot photographing this family … the little girl kept posing like a model, loving every minute … the little guy on the other hand, was not in the mood to have his photo taken and tried really hard not to smile for me … The parents wanted very casual photos so they all wore flip flops … loved it!

I received an email a few days ago asking if I would be able to do a shoot of 2 little ones for a father’s day present. I haven’t had a kids shoot in a while and was extremely excited to photograph little L & E. John Lawson in West Vancouver is such a great place to photograph children because the park is there as well as the beach … lots of places for them to explore and to try to forget the camera is on them. Good job…hope you enjoyed your ice cream … it was well deserved.

It’s always fun photographing this family! I was very happy when Julie called to set up another family shoot, and even more so when I heard her dad and Kaye from P.E.I. would be in them as well. I have known this family for many years and it is always great to see Mike when he is in town.

My cousin and his wife had their baby while I was in Ontario visiting. So I had the pleasure of photographing my first newborn!! Woot Woot…thanks for being 2 weeks early

Baby Joey was only 5 days old when I took these photos. Aren’t newborns supposed to sleep all the time?! Not this little guy…he totally wanted to work the camera instead of napping. Welcome to the family little one.
